Drawing "The Bruce"
Sunday night was “Mommy and me” time for Ekrina. For some reason she decided she wanted to draw together.

We sat down at the table and tried to draw free-hand. That lasted for about 10 minutes. Then I had the great idea to look up “how to draw fairies” on the Internet. Turns out fairies are more difficult to draw than I expected. I walked away from Ekrina and the computer for a minute and when I came back she informed me that we would be learning how to draw neo-pets. “Cool!” (I said this not having any idea what a neo-pet was.) Somehow Ekrina had managed to pull up an instruction page on how to draw a Neo-Pet called “The Bruce” so we sat down and followed the step-by-step guide to creating the penguin-like character.
