Best Oscar Moments

Published by Jenny at 6:13 pm under Movies, News, Television

Jessica Alba, Nicole Kidman, Cate Blanchett - "Baby award" goes to Angelina Jolie.

If there was an award for most enthusiastic Oscar speech, Marion Cotillard certainly would have won it. With at least six “Thank You’s” inserted, Thank you so, so much Marion for your enthusiasm.

Markéta Irglová who won for the song from "Once" is given a chance to make her acceptance speech.  It was a nice speech about how Hope unites everyone.

The award for best documentary is presented by a variety of members of the armed forces currently serving in Baghdad.

Daniel Day-Lewis wins Best Actor for his role in There Will be Blood.  Jokingly kneels in front of presenter, Helen Mirren, and jokes that it’s the closest he will ever be to getting a Knighthood.

And the final moment of the night, the award for Best Motion Picture was presented by two-time Oscar Winner Denzel Washington. No Country for Old Men takes home the little man.

And those are the highlights of the awards show. For a complete list of winners visit Oscars.
