Stranger than Fiction or Borat?

I confess, I’m a movie addict. Not an inexpensive habit when you think that two tickets cost $20 and if you get snacks that’s almost another $20. :( But when there are such good movies to choose from what can you do? Poor, poor consumers (like me!). But you aren’t reading this to hear me whine about the prices of movies in California so back to the important stuff. Well can you decide? Let’s see on one hand there is what the reviewers call “High Brow” comedy and then there is, well, there’s Borat. I doubt anyone would call it “High Brow”. High something else perhaps. ;) Really, its the one line from Stranger than Fiction that is still making me lean toward seeing this movie instead of Borat. When an old fuddy duddy character says “You have a voice speaking to you? Harold Crick (Will Ferrel) answers “…about me. accurately, and with a better vocabulary.” I LOVE it. Of course the real reason I maybe want to see the movie is since it deals with someone that has writers block. OK obviously I’ve made a compelling case for Stranger than Fiction. It’s compelling me to go see the movie anyhow. The only argument I have for Borat is that is seems to be selling out still so someone must like it. Oh and I liked Ali G whatever his real name is as the villain/bad french dude in Taledega Nights. But ah…Taledega Nights starred Will Farrell and Will Farrell is in Stranger than Fiction so again I have arrived at my original conclusion. STF it is.
